Are the Myspace rumors true about Tom being in debt and a future membership fee?

A few days ago I received the following bulletin:

We apoligize for the let down, but starting January 6 , 2009, My space members will be charged 22.50 per month But there is something you can do . A petition, we will track this bulletin , And for Everyone who reposts it will recieve a code for the first two years of My Space 2 Free. This is no joke. We have tried our hardest to keep this from happening. My space 2 coming January 6, 2009 to get the free code, repost this bulletin as '; My Space 2'; and look in your message box within a week





I am wondering if these rumors are true. If so, is Facebook a good alternative?Are the Myspace rumors true about Tom being in debt and a future membership fee?
its not true. myspace isnt even owned by tom anymore. he sold it a couple years ago to the parent company of fox news.Are the Myspace rumors true about Tom being in debt and a future membership fee?
thats not true, theres been others like that bulletin that say he's gonna erase all of the inactive myspace accounts and this just sounds like another false bulletin.
No it's just spam going around, wait till tom actually comes out and says it, I see no reason for him being in debt

People make up these bulletins and say ';repost or die'; or something like that.


I'm not sure why.


They're just stupid.
