I just want to know if you have to pay for xbox live.Someone told me that you have to pay for a xbox gamertag, even if you have a silver membership. Is this true?
Silver membership is free and gold will cost you about $50 a year. Silver allows you to do everything but play online games against human opponents. A gamertag is free unless you want to change an existing one.
