Is it true that military can get into Costco without having to pay the membership fee?

My husband is in the Marines and he mentioned that to me, and now i want to sign up but i was wondering if anyone else has heard of this or tried to sign up with their military id.Is it true that military can get into Costco without having to pay the membership fee?
I'm not sure. I know military personnel get a discount at movie theaters.

I guess it would be the least Costco could do to honor veterans/servicemen.Is it true that military can get into Costco without having to pay the membership fee?
There was a program with Sam's Club in the months of Nov/Dec and that was only for 3 weekends I believe. There is no program like that with Costco. You can get a membership for around $70 or less a year at either location.
Hmmm...I never heard about that....Look it up on Google maybe OR on Costco's website.

BTW...i hate those places that you need a membership to shop at...it's bad enough we spending money at their store period...now we gotta pay to buy from THEIR stores...It's like tax on top of tax!

P.S: Military gets a discount at ';Jack In The Box';..(10% off)
If it isn't true, it should be.
